Congratulations to Adem Barolli (Weekend Life fitness column, April 14) for his lifestyle change and the enthusiasm that he has to share the love.
There are so many temptations out there which can create poor choices in lifestyle habits; on the opposite side there is also much information about how to be healthy that it is mind-boggling.
One size does not fit all and each person has their own battle.
If only we still worked physically instead being in sedentary employment.
If only we ate what we grew instead of eating the prepackaged processed produce.
If only we didn’t have to work as well as raise families and run a house.
If only life was a bit more simplistic.
But it isn’t; and developing that trigger to initiate the change of behaviour that Mr Barolli writes about can be hugely difficult. For some people it is not just enough to want it.
Whether it is a dietary issue, or balancing the budget, or creating a daily routine, for some it creates massive hurdles every day.
Good luck to Mr Barolli in his quest to help others; I sincerely hope that anybody who is in a struggle will reach out with both hands and jump in with both feet.
